Zhiyao Zhong
I am a PhD student at the National University of Singapore, advised by Michael D. Adams. My research interests are in programming languages, with a current focus on zipper.
Previously, I studied Data Science at the University of Michigan and Electrical and Computer Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University through their dual-degree program. At Michigan, I worked on Hazel Deriver in the Future of Programming Lab.
Current project
Regular Zipper Languages
I am developing a framework for representing and manipulating sets of trees with named focal positions using finite tree automata.
